BYU-Idaho Flag Football Champions!!!!

This semester Ryan and his friends decided to put together a flag football team. They were unstoppable!!! They came a long way from their first game where they continually asked the referees the rules. Once they got those down the rest was history! They started with just one game a week and boy did they have something to prove. We were all surprised when the tournament came and before they knew it they were scheduled to play in the stadium for the championship.

There were some close games but I was there biggest fan and they couldn't lose if I was there. I was what they liked to call their good luck charm! The championship game was something that even a deathly cold couldn't keep Ryan away. They won with a little help from the Miami Dolphin Wild Cat offense and a devilish defense. The opponents (Turtlebath) were a little frustrated on the opening drive when my champion husband chased down the quarterback and and tipped the ball into the air as he delivered the pass. Luckily for the SPARTANS, Ryan tipped the ball directly to himself, after he gained possession, he scurried 80 yards for the touchdown!! The Ecstatic Spartans never looked back in route to a 30-6 VICTORY over the so called Turtlebathers. Ryan was also involved in the second touchdown of the game giving the Spartans a 12-0 lead going into halftime. With his stellar performance his teammates deemed him MVP!! The next morning he asked me, "How was it sleeping with a champion?" HAHA

The Spartans were so sad the season was over, they decided to play in a Basketball league. I am sure I will be attending all of those games to witness the Spartans continue their quest for victory.
